AMS Tech Club Shines at ECC Tech Wars

The Amherst Middle School Tech Club, led by advisors Bill Schupp and Eliza Sarigiannis, made a remarkable impact at the largest-ever ECC Tech Wars competition in May 2025 with over 1,000 registered competitors from more than 50 schools. Competing in various technology and engineering events, our students earned top honors in a new event for the club: the Robot Drag Race.

Jack Beedon placed first. Jesse Cammarata, Mary Schregel, Cooper Endres, and Jeremy Schregel took second place. All of the students worked diligently to complete their projects in time for the competition, showcasing their commitment, skills, and creativity.

It was a team effort and club members supported one another during the competition including Benjamin Bejarano, Bernard Kuberski, Cooper Endres, Daniel Lagarda, Emily Ordon, Henry Wright, Jacob Bishop, Janat Alsaedi, Jenna Ordon, Jeremy Schregel, Jesse Cammarata, Jack Beedon, Louis Scibetta, Mary Schregel, Matthew Szumski, Ryan Maher, Tabarak Munshid, Aditya Pulavarti, Zach Schneider, Zoe Coleman, and Zoey DeFio.
