An optional summer field trip for the 2025-26 Studio in Art students to the Buffalo AKG Art Museum provided a day of seeing an exciting blend of modern and contemporary art. After exploring the galleries, the middle school students sketched in the Wilson Town Square beneath the striking “Common Sky” canopy.
An Amherst Middle School alumni, Anya, who now works at the gallery, shared insights about her projects from Studio in Art and the Junior Docent Program at the Martin House with the group.
